FAME Employee Drive Helps Veterans Keep Warm this Winter

Approximately 22.5 million veterans in the U.S. are homeless as of 2014. On any given night more than 300,000 veterans are living on the streets or in shelters throughout the country. These are just some of the stark statistics – and realities – that our veterans community are facing. Winter is a time of cold and wet climates, and many homeless veterans are lacking the basic amenities to handle living under these extreme conditions.

Each year, FAME organizes a drive among its staff to collect essentials to help this community during the approaching winter season. This year, we are proud to announce that the FAME Corporations team collectively donated over 300 pairs of gloves and beanies for veterans in need this winter. The donation was made to the US Vets Inglewood.

FAME Corporations has a proud tradition of supporting its veterans’ community. We honor and respect the sacrifice and commitment these brave individuals have made not only protecting our great nation, but also protecting and helping those when called to action. From housing to transportation to nutrition education programs, FAME also has a call to service to help veterans in need.
