FAME Housing and Transportation Departments Bring Seniors to Winder Wonderland Festival

Through the collective efforts of FAME’s Housing and Transporation departments, seniors from our FAME Arms and FAME Senior Garden apartment complexes were able to attend this year’s Winter Wonderland Festival. Transportation Distribution Draws Big Numbers and Collaboration with MTA to Improve Services

Last month, FAME opened it doors once again to welcome program participants of its Rider Relief Transportation Program (RRTP), some travelling from as far as San Fernando Valley, to receive much needed transporation assistance benefits. The program focuses on discounts for bus riders, providing up to ten dollars a month in monthly transportations costs. FAME’s Transportation Program Featured Guests at Japanese New Year Event

Recently, the Seinan Senior Center hosted FAME’s Immediate Needs Transporation Program staff as featured guests at its Japanese New Year party. The center has been a participating agency with FAME’s INTP program for more than ten years. This year, according to Japanese culture, is the Year of the Sheep.
