How to Make an In-Kind Donation
Each year, FAME Assistance Corporation in collaboration with FAME Church Los Angeles hosts the Back to School Giveaway and Health Fair. The event supports economically disadvantaged, school-aged children who receive backpacks, sneakers and school supplies. Plus, the children and their families receive healthcare screenings and nutrition education. The 2009 event attracted over 7,000 residents, many of whom camped out overnight to receive the essential school supplies and health services.
